The last day of school has been filled with all the emotions!
I couldn’t stop crying while I watched the Kindergarten slide show.
Part of me was crying happy tears for the great job the teachers did to make doing Kindergarten at home as fun as possible.
Part of me was crying for the loss of the silliness, lessons, , connections and experience that happens with 20 6 year-olds in the classroom.
Part of me was crying for how the whole world changed the way it worked in just a few short weeks and how we got through this big milestone.
Regardless, we made it through the zooms and the google classroom assignments, the slide shows, and the videos, the virtual presentations, and the video projects! We made it through moving a school into our home, and teaching and working and parenting all in the same moments. We made it through so much unknown and schedule-less time.
I know we will look back at this year with so many memories.
And for now we celebrate!
We made it!
