I see you feeling scattered and frustrated every day with how tired you feel and how much it always seems like there’s so much to do between packing kids lunches, commuting, and making dinner it’s hard to imagine what it would look like to really take care of you.
But here’s the truth, when you’re running around like a chicken with your head cut off constantly putting everyone else’s needs before your own– it’s not supporting you or anyone else.
Because you’re left feeling depleted, exhausted, frustrated and don’t have much to give when you’re pouring from an empty cup.
Which is exactly why shifting your daily habits is so important so you can create a lifestyle that fuels you and your family.
By having habits and routines for yourself, and a plan for your nutrition that fills you up and leaves you feeling satisfied, grounded and ready to take on the day, you’ll notice your whole perspective changes on how you handle the world.
You’ll start to see how much happier everyone in the family is when you’re taking care of you first.
You will be amazed at how much more you are able to enjoy everyday things like driving carpool, running meetings and reading a good book.
You don’t need to set a goal of taking better care of yourself. You need a system to make it happen!
3 Reasons Systems(habits) > Goals
- Habits are the structure and the system behind the goals. They are the actions you take each day that move you in the direction you want to go. They are the way that you are able do what you need to do for yourself in your busy life.
- Goals are great for creating short term change but when you complete them – they are done. Then what?! Goals can spark motivation to finish or complete something but they don’t provide a system for long term success. Habits do that 🙂
- Life is going to happen and interfere with your goals or deadlines, but your systems and structure can be in place to allow
